This site is all about getting motivated to plan and eat the right way.
But first, a little about me. I am a wife, mother, full-time career woman, and healthy eating, meal planning fanatic! For more than 13 years, I’ve been been happily married to my amazing and supportive husband, David, with who I have three wonderful boys – Evan (10), Ryan (8) and Jason (4).
‘The Struggle’ has always been REAL
Do you ever feel like the work week NEVER STOPS? That’s how I discovered that meal planning is so important in order to keep myself on track, healthy, and those HUNGRY BOYS of mine properly fed!
Ever since I was a little, I always struggled with my weight. I was called all the names you could think of in elementary and high school. But for all the heartache, it’s what motivated me to learn and maintain some wholesome and sustainable eating habits. Don’t get me wrong, I have tried every diet under the sun; from counting calories to counting points, to liquids only, to starving and binging.
All that stopped around 4 years ago when I tried something similar to the Paleo diet (Whole30) but with some stricter rules. It’s definitely not for everyone, but I found that I lost weight and felt the best I had in years. And it changed the way I look at food forever.

I truly believe the key to success when it comes to your healthy goals is planning ahead when it comes to food. Being a busy, full-time working mother of 3, I found it extra important to have those weekday dinners ready the minute I came home (not to mention, with a trio of kids in tow).
Meal planning definitely isn’t as easy as it looks or sounds. It takes effort, organization, and a lot of planning. But the payoff is AMAZING. It takes stress off the work week, plus there are enough leftovers for lunch the next day (another huge bonus). Over the years, it’s helped me rediscover my passion for cooking and meal prep, but also my passion for helping others who may be on the same journey.
That’s what MY MOTIVATED MEALS is all about – inspiring and sharing with others, and helping to alleviate some of the stress that can come along with deciding how and what to cook.
